Former prosecutor Eugen Beci said on the Now show on Euronews Albania that the assassination attempt that occurred in broad daylight 100 meters from the airport is a serious violation of national security.
According to Beci, the way the state police managed this event in terms of collecting evidence is chaotic.
"It is a difficult event that must be viewed from three perspectives, despite the human consequences, which are very serious. The first is whether it violates the security and order at the only international airport we have. The shooting violates the security of the airport and flights.
Second, the fact that we are dealing with a well-organized murder shows that order and security are seriously questioned for such a serious event to occur in a safe place like the airport. And third, organized crime is stronger than ever today.
The fact that there is a large shooting range, considering the traces left by the bullets at the scene, shows that order and security, including flight safety, have been directly violated.
"The way the state police have managed the collection of evidence is, frankly, a total chaos," said the former prosecutor.
