A serious incident has occurred in Fier, where the body of a 72-year-old man, in a decomposed state, was discovered in a plot in the village of Sektor Seman.
The victim has been identified as Mihallaq Shqepa, a resident of Fier, who had been wanted since July 12, 2025, following a report from his brother reporting his disappearance from the apartment.
According to initial police information, no signs of violence were found on the deceased's body. It is suspected that death may have occurred due to natural causes, but only forensic expertise will determine whether the official track stands or if there are other hidden elements behind this event.
The investigation team is on the ground and is working to clarify every circumstance of the death, including the location, exact time and causes that led to the loss of the 72-year-old's life. Until the investigation is completed, all possibilities remain open.
" In the lands of the village of Sektor Seman, the decomposed body of citizen M. Sh., 72 years old, resident of Fier, was found. From the preliminary examination, no signs of violence were found.
This citizen was declared wanted on 12.07.2025, by the Fier Police Commissariat, after a report made by his brother for leaving the apartment. The investigative group is working to determine the cause of death , "the police said.
