On the night of July 8, as Renis Dobra, a 23-year-old from Mati, was approaching his home in the village of Zenisht, he was stopped by a vehicle carrying two people dressed in police uniforms.
' Në Shënjestër ' has revealed in detail what happened in the late hours of Tuesday, July 8, based on the testimonies of people who randomly shot near the place where the 23-year-old was kidnapped, based on footage taken from security cameras on the Burrel-Tirana road, which were administered by the police.
Although the perpetrators tried to leave no trace in the kidnapping and subsequent murder of Renis, his cousin who was traveling from Burreli to Zenishti witnessed the scene of Dobra's arrest up close.
But the victim's cousin, Renis Dobra, said that in the darkness he could not make out the license plates of the vehicle stopped on the street, nor the portraits of the people who ordered him to leave.
"I couldn't make out the license plate or the people's faces because they had their high beams on. After I called and took my uncle to his house, we went to the police to inquire."
According to the testimony given by Renis Dobra's father, that evening he was expecting his son at the family home.
After they had a family dinner, and according to him, around 9:30 p.m., his son sent him a message that he was coming to the family.
Although it is unclear where Renisi was coming from in the meantime, or what direction he had taken.
What is now understood is that the perpetrators had accurate information about the fact that Renis Dobra, that evening, was returning to his family in the village of Zenisht, Burrel.
For this reason, one of the cars waited for him on the Burrel-Tirana road. And after they had put him in their vehicle, probably in the back seat, Renis' vehicle is thought to have been driven by one of the people present, part of the criminal platoon,
This goes on until part of the segment, where they then took Renis' body and put it in his vehicle, which they then threw into Lake Shkopet, where it was found a few hours later.
There were strong suspicions that he had initially been shot, but then the idea that he had been strangled by the exercise of human force was raised due to the marks found on his body, especially in the neck area.
"The place where 23-year-old Renis Dobra is thought to have been kidnapped is just 5 minutes away from the victim's apartment. Initial suspicions are that the perpetrators strangled the young man with a rope and then put him in their Benz car and then threw him into Lake Shkopet."
"But during the vehicle rollover, Renis Dobra's lifeless body was ejected from the car, where he suffered other injuries to his head and body," the investigative file states.
