The Polumbarës have found the lifeless body of a 16-year-old boy who drowned this afternoon in the Patoku Lagoon, while he was bathing with his friend. The latter, also 16 years old, was immediately taken to the hospital in serious condition.
We recall that the incident occurred this afternoon, when the two 16-year-olds went into the sea to bathe, passing through the channel that connects the lagoon to the sea, but it is suspected that they were swept away by the current.
One of them was pulled from the water and transported to the hospital for medical assistance, while the other 16-year-old drowned.
The services of the Kurbin Police Station and the Border Police arrived at the scene, and the intervention of the Renea police was requested to search and find the body.
