The brutal murder of the 27-year-old Albanian, who was found charred and tied up in the back of a car in Skourta, Greece, still remains a mystery.
Greek authorities are continuing their investigations and have opened leads.
So far, the reasons for the brutal crime have not been clarified, with police considering the possibility that the perpetrator could be the ex-boyfriend of the Albanian's partner. According to Greek media, the Albanian had previously been threatened by an ex-boyfriend of the girl he was in a relationship with.
Other scenarios for illegal activity are not currently being considered as the young man is not found to have been involved in criminal activities. The incident has shocked the country after unknown perpetrators shot the 27-year-old and then put his body in the back seat of a stolen car and burned it.
He was identified through DNA. The car he was found in had been stolen from the Glyfada area and had forged license plates, which corresponded to a vehicle of the same type.
