Another serious incident has shaken Shkodra. A powerful TNT explosion occurred moments ago in the "Skënderbeg" neighborhood, once again bringing fear back to the city that has long been the scene of assassinations and violent clashes.
The explosive device was placed on the door of a private business, which operates in the field of advertising and marketing. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but material damage is extensive.
Police are at the scene and have launched investigations to determine the motives and perpetrators. Meanwhile, no official details have been released regarding the business owner or whether he has been the subject of any previous threats.
"Shkodër/Preliminary information. At around 22:20, in the "Skënderbeg" neighborhood, Shkodër, at the door of an advertising entity, it is suspected that explosives were placed. As a result, there was only material damage," the police announced.
The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is carrying out actions to clarify the circumstances, identify and apprehend the perpetrator(s).
For years, Shkodra has become one of the most problematic areas for serious criminal events, where gunfights, assassinations and explosions have become almost commonplace, without yet having a clear strategy to end the spiral of violence.
