Pen gun injury in Tirana, police arrest pizzeria driver who shot 15-year-old

Police have arrested the perpetrator of the injury two days ago at a pizzeria in Tirana.

The incident occurred in the "Ali Demi" area and after a conflict, the 21-year-old pizzeria driver, Aldi Neziri, injured a 15-year-old with a "pen gun".

After the incident, Aldi Neziri (the perpetrator) and Leonardo Mejdani (the administrator) were declared wanted. Meanwhile, the employees of the pizzeria: Ferit Basha, Andi Kyka and Keivin Bala have also been arrested. After the arrest of Neziri, the administrator of the pizzeria remains wanted.

Seemingly an accidental event, the injury has raised major questions for investigators about what really happened, as so far those involved have attempted to hide any trace.

There are many reasons. The minor, who had started working only 2 weeks ago at his cousin's pizzeria in the "Ali Demi" area, was not declared.

On Sunday afternoon, he was sitting at a table with his cousin, administrator Leonardo Mejdani, and his colleague, pizza delivery man Aldi Neziri, 21. For reasons still unclear, the employee pulled out a modified pen-shaped firearm and shot the minor in the neck, who was transported to the Trauma Hospital. No one notified the police, but they took care to hide the traces of what had happened.

Three other employees of the "Fantazia" pizzeria, now arrested, along with the wanted administrator, wiped away traces of blood and removed the DVR of the pizzeria's security cameras. All have been charged with failure to report a crime and acts that hinder the discovery of the truth.
