A serious road accident has shaken the city of Elbasan this afternoon. The incident occurred on the road that connects the "Aleksandër Xhuvani" University with the Zaranika stream, in the Haxhias neighborhood, where three vehicles collided with great force, causing several injuries.
One of the injured is in critical condition and has been urgently transported to the Elbasan regional hospital. Other people have suffered minor injuries and are receiving medical treatment on site.
" At around 17:20, in the "Dyli Haxhire" neighborhood, the place called "Ura e Zaranikës", 3 vehicles were involved in a road accident, with drivers, respectively, citizens DZ, IA and EL. As a result, all three vehicle drivers and two passengers in the vehicle driven by citizen IA were injured, who were transported for medical assistance to the hospital. The investigation group is working to determine the circumstances and causes of the accident ," the police said.
