An 18-year-old man was stabbed in Bajram Curri, an incident that occurred on Saturday, the Police announced.
The latter announced that in connection with the incident, it has arrested the suspected perpetrator, 25-year-old citizen, SD.
The latter is accused of intentional grievous bodily harm and illegal possession of cold weapons. Meanwhile, the 18-year-old with the initials DH is in hospital with a non-life-threatening condition.
"Following the intensive investigative actions carried out under the direction of the Kukës Prosecution Office, to fully document the circumstances of the incident that occurred yesterday, in Bajram Curri, where citizen DH was injured with a cutting tool during a conflict for weak motives, the Crime Investigation specialists at the Tropoja Police Commissariat arrested the suspected perpetrator, citizen SD, 25 years old, resident of the village of Koçanaj, for the criminal offenses of "Intentional serious injury" and "Unlicensed production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons."
The investigation revealed that in the early hours of 19.07.2025, in the town of Bajram Curri, citizen SD, for weak motives, had a conflict with citizen DH, 18 years old, resident of Bajram Curri, and is suspected of having struck him with a cutting tool, a knife, which was seized as material evidence.
The 18-year-old continues to be under the care of doctors, out of danger to his life.
"The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of Kukes Jurisdiction, for further action," the Police announced.
