Over 220 assets, including companies, land, villas, apartments and bank accounts, have been seized from Isa Ali, the brother of Salvadore Ali, considered by investigators to be one of the main figures in international drug trafficking. The names of the two brothers were included in 10 arrest warrants issued by the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO), as part of the crackdown on one of the most dangerous cocaine trafficking networks from Latin America to various European countries.

According to the investigation, the assets registered in the name of Isa Ali are suspected of having been created through the laundering of money obtained from drug trafficking, mainly through commercial activities, construction and the real estate sector. The investigative file raises suspicions that the two brothers have recycled around 30 million euros brought into Albania through various routes, mainly in cash.

Isa Ali's activity as an entrepreneur began in 2008 with the creation of the company "Aliu Road House" sh.pk, which operated in the field of export-import.

In 2022, he significantly expanded his economic activity. In March, he purchased the security company “ARH Security”, while in May he acquired 50 percent of the shares of the company “Green Invest” sh.pk, engaged in the agriculture, livestock and horticulture sectors. Then, in October 2024, he founded the company “Seavieu Development” sh.pk, with the aim of designing, building and putting into operation a tourist complex, hotel structure and seasonal tourist facilities in Jalë.

According to investigators, the period 2022-2025 coincides with a significant expansion of the Aliu brothers' activity, accompanied by numerous investments in real estate and the construction sector.

The investigative file also mentions communications from 2020 between the two brothers, where Isa Aliu declared that he had 6 million euros, while about two weeks later Salvadore Aliu informed him that another 20 million euros would arrive.

At the same time, the financial balance sheets of the company “Aliu Road House” show a significant change. Until 2019, the company reported losses, while in 2020 it recorded a pre-tax profit of 2.6 million lek. A year later, the profit increased to over 129 million lek, continuing at high rates in the following years. The value of the company's assets and revenues is estimated at around 13.6 million euros.

During the years 2024-2025, mainly through “Aliu Road House”, a new wave of investments in real estate is recorded. In July 2024, Isa Aliu purchased a residential, service and hotel building with up to 41 floors on “Muhamet Gjollesha” street in Tirana, from the company “Ferro Beton & Construction CO”. The building, still in the construction phase, had a value of 2.9 million euros, while the completion of the works would be carried out by his company.

The name of Ilir Shtufi, a 50 percent shareholder in "Ferro Beton & Construction CO", also appears in this transaction. The same company had sold Isa Aliu more than 1 thousand square meters of surface in the "Garden Building" complex in Tirana during 2022. Shtufi was arrested last week as part of another SPAK investigation, where he is suspected of creating opportunities for people involved in drug trafficking to launder money through construction companies.

In the period April 2022 - February 2023 alone, Isa Aliu invested in two 5-6-story buildings, 11 villas, 47 apartments, 9 duplex units and 41 parking spaces in the "Lalzi Marina Seaside" project.

Meanwhile, during 2025, he signed two business contracts for the construction of a hotel in Borsh and for the construction of a five-star luxury hotel with 200 rooms in Himara. In exchange for the investment and construction, he would receive ownership shares in these structures.

In total, in addition to 63 bank accounts, Isa Aliu and his companies own more than 160 properties, including land, pastures, areas planted with trees, buildings, palaces, villas and apartments.

These assets constitute more than half of the real estate assets seized by SPAK from 10 individuals involved in this criminal network. According to preliminary estimates, the total value of the seized assets amounts to around 150 million euros.
