Three people have been arrested by Tirana Police for illegal ticket sales for the match to be held on Saturday, June 7th, between Albania and Serbia.
According to sources, their identification was made through social networks after they advertised their sales for between 300 and 1,000 euros.
The same sources indicate that tickets were also found on the arrested persons as material evidence.
The Albanian national football team plays on Saturday at 20:45 against Serbia at the "National Arena" in Tirana, a challenge valid for Group K of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The National Arena Stadium has a capacity of approximately 22,000 seats, while for the June 7 match, which is valid for the World Cup qualifiers, there have been around 200,000 requests for tickets.

As a result of providing information that tickets for the "Albania-Serbia" football match were being sold on an account on the social network "Instagram", at a price several times higher than that set by the Albanian Football Federation, specialists for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes finalized the "Attention" operation.
As part of the operation, the suspected perpetrators of the case were identified, citizens LM, 34 years old, AT, 23 years old and IL, 24 years old, who were put in handcuffs, as well as citizen E. Sh., 25 years old and a 16-year-old, for whom proceedings were initiated while at large. The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action, for the criminal offenses "Market manipulation" and "Hiding income", the police announced.
