Sentenced to 6.6 years in prison, Albania extradites Turkish citizen to Germany

A Turkish citizen, wanted by German justice authorities, has been extradited from Albania to Germany.

According to an official announcement, the 26-year-old Turkish man was sentenced in Germany to 6 years and 6 months in prison. He was tried for drug trafficking.

"Citizen Metehan Tutuncu, 26 years old, who was sentenced by the Court of Aschaffenburg, Germany, in 2023, to 6 years and 6 months in prison for drug trafficking, is being extradited from Albania to Germany," the Police statement said.
