The Independence Day celebration was also marked by the punishment of several drivers in the capital, after they made wrong maneuvers in the New Boulevard area, endangering themselves and other road users.
The police report that after creating dangerous traffic situations, officers intervened by stopping the three citizens and blocking their vehicles.
"The officers intervened, stopped the vehicles and carried out administrative and procedural actions. From the investigative actions, citizens SM, FD and AT were identified, who were each punished with the relevant administrative measures, in accordance with the Road Code. Subsequently, the three vehicles were blocked, in order to facilitate further procedures ," the police announced.
The Blue Uniforms further call on all drivers to respect traffic rules, avoid dangerous maneuvers and any action that compromises public safety.
