The 28-year-old man who fatally hit a 55-year-old man in Nikël has been placed in police custody.
Kruja Police announced today that Crime Investigation specialists at the Police Station have identified and arrested MM, 28 years old, who "last night hit a pedestrian and then left the scene."
" The incident occurred in the Shelqet neighborhood, Nikël, where the vehicle driven by MM hit P. Xh., 55 years old, who unfortunately lost his life as a result of the accident ," the police said.
Police explain that investigations are continuing to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
