Of the 500,000 who voted for the Democratic Party's Alliance for a Greater Albania domestically, not even 2% of the "greats" came to its 8th national protest.
A few words were said in front of the Prime Minister's Office, then an attempt was made to go to the Ministry of Interior, but they were prevented by the police's rain. And after a few Molotov cocktails were thrown, Berisha declared that in the next protest, the police and the government would not be able to find a hole to fit in.
A refrain that is getting older than Berisha himself...
Such protests may suit radical NGOs or small parties like them. But a party that managed to get 500,000 votes for the alliance it leads, when it can't even gather 2% of them in the square, there is no point in continuing this ritual.
It simply proves to its voters and the entire Albanian public that it no longer has any electoral appeal...
