After the increase in oil prices, another effect of the conflict with Iran is the chaos that is being created in the travel industry. Thousands of flights have been canceled in the conflict region, but not only. No one knows when normality will return. Leonard Maçi, a travel expert, says that this situation is also being felt in the domestic market.

"The market with Israel is considered consolidated. Spring tours from Tel Aviv have been canceled indefinitely. So tourists from Israel are missing from the domestic market without knowing when they can resume flights. Also, trips to Dubai and Abu Dhabi are canceled. For our market, these blockages are enough to feel the effects ," said Maçi on the 'E-ZONE' show on 'Vizion Plus'.

At the same time, bookings with Turkey have also seen a drop, following news that this country was the focus of attacks from Iran.

" In this first week we see that travel to Turkey has also been limited. There are no more phone calls to book flights to this country. Not only for short weekend trips, but also for summer holidays. We hope to reach an agreement as soon as possible so that the situation returns to normal ," said Maci.

But the reduction in travel coupled with an increase in hydrocarbon prices are signals that will also have their effects on the air market by making flight tickets more expensive.
