The Transparency Board has today set new prices for fuel trading in the country.

According to the decision, the maximum retail price for SSH EN 590 standard diesel is set at 191 lek per liter , while the wholesale price should not exceed 179 lek per liter.

Meanwhile, for SSH EN standard gasoline, the maximum retail price has been set at 176 lek per liter , while the wholesale price is set at 164 lek per liter .

The Board announced that the new prices came into effect today, June 2, at 3:00 PM and will be valid until the next meeting, when new market changes will be reviewed and reflected.

The authorities have drawn the attention of operators engaged in the wholesale and retail trade of petroleum by-products to the mandatory implementation of this decision.

Transparency Board Announcement:

The Transparency Board on June 2, 2026, at its next meeting decided:
The retail price of the gasoil by-product of the SSH EN 590 standard shall be no more than 191 lek/liter, while the wholesale price shall be no more than 179 lek/liter.

The retail price of the SSH EN standard gasoline by-product should be no more than 176 lek/liter, while the wholesale price should be no more than 164 lek/liter.

The prices set by the Board will come into effect today, the 2nd, at 3:00 PM and will be valid until the next board meeting where the changes in sales prices will be reflected.

We draw the attention of every operator of wholesale and retail sales of petroleum by-products to the obligation to implement this decision.

In case of violations found by various operators, the suspension of activity will be decided.

The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, together with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, are committed to protecting the interests of Albanian consumers and preserving the principles of fair competition in the market.
