Are feasible promises being made in the campaign? Malaj: The only aim is to

Former SP minister Arben Malaj, asked if there are irresponsible promises from parties in the May 11 elections, said that political parties must promise that the country will have financial stability.

For the show "Log." on News24, Malaj said that the economic trend should be increasing. According to him, the promises seem to be aimed more at winning votes.

"First of all, I want to say that I am writing two books about the economy. Electoral programs now do not have the weight they once did, there are also social networks. It will be difficult to see how feasible the promises of the parties are. The political party must promise that the country will have financial stability, the party supports better economic growth and ensures that the country has growth, has a positive trend.

"The 20 percent VAT has not changed for a long time and I would like them not to cut it. Social policies are better. The 10 percent flat tax is a failure. The parties seem to only want to absorb votes, not that they have better economic ideas," said Malaj.
