Behind the attacks on the Pamphlet lies a history of shared interests, where politics, justice and business meet away from the public eye...

There are many people who are surprised by the great zeal of Jamarbër Berisha (Malltezi) to attack one of the media outlets most critical of the ruling government, Pamfleti.

And they have reason to be surprised. Under normal conditions, with normal logic, an opposition figure has no reason to become more "Catholic than the Pope" towards the strongest media critics of today's government.

So the question is fair: why is this happening? Why this increased zeal of the opposition leader's family towards a media outlet that has probably given this opposition more material than its own experts and media outlets?

This is exactly where the problem lies.

Because Sali Berisha and his family have become an instrument, or a blind tool, of the prime minister, to be used whenever the blow against him needs to be relativized or cushioned.

In exchange for this service, the Berisha family is sponsored in all directions: politically and economically.

Jamarbër Malltezi is a defendant in the "Partizani" case, where 19 towers were built from a public property, which had not only buildings, but also a large sports complex, and were later sold as apartments, commercial premises or business headquarters.

This gigantic business of Jamarbër Malltez and the Berisha family would not have been built if Edi Rama, as mayor, had not given his approval, or at least had not obstructed it. Later, as prime minister, he could have blocked it.

But this is only part of the story.

The biggest problem for the Berisha family is that it is dependent on Edi Rama for a number of other issues, which could harm it even more. These are other criminal files, kept pending precisely so that Berisha does not hit Edi Rama and his family.

The "Partizani" process now seems like a manageable embarrassment for Berisha and his family, who have taken all measures to delay, instrumentalize, and relativize it as much as possible.

Calling Edi Rama as a witness in the "Partizani" case will be clear evidence of how the parties have agreed not to further aggravate the situation, but to keep each other in the political, legal and economic trap.

The latest agreement between Edi Rama and Berisha is the third political reform, which turns the Parliament into two chambers, where in the Senate members are expected to have the status of the President of the Republic. So, while they are in office, they will not face criminal prosecution.

On the other hand, the groom's family is an important party in the division of the towers that Edi Rama seals and signs. The permits are given as "carte blanche" to the doctor's family, to be divided as bank drafts registered offshore.

In this dirty tandem, which has led the country to a political misery like the former Soviet republics, Edi Rama misuses his partners by blaming critics who publish major corruption scandals and links to crime.

In a way, the groom is nothing more than a 'scoundrel', only he wears a French hat./ Pamphlet
