The silence about Rrjollin reveals the old agreement between politics and the oligarchy that has enriched and protected the same names for 35 years...
Sali Berisha appears on television every day. He speaks for hours. He analyzes, accuses, curses, warns. He has an opinion on every issue in this country. About justice, about the government, about ambassadors, about the economy, about the media. But he doesn't say a word about Rrjoll.
In Rrjoll, residents confront the police over their land. In Rrjoll, Bashkim Ulaj builds. In Rrjoll, the state uses force to pave the way for a private resort. And Sali Berisha remains silent.
He doesn't talk about a conflict of interest. He doesn't talk about the fact that Bashkim Ulaj is the one building there. He doesn't talk about his personal relationship with him. He lives in Ulaj's buildings. His offices are there. When he was prime minister, he didn't issue a tender or construction permit without giving it to them. When he went into opposition, Ulaj changed sides in politics, but he never forgot his old benefactor.
Today Berisha attacks the government for everything, but he never mentions Bashkim Ulaj's name. Never. Not a single sentence. Not a single insinuation.
The irony is even deeper. The security company of another Tropojan, Erzen Breçani, arrested as part of a criminal group, is present in defense of the resort in Rrjoll. The residents' protest is faced with private uniforms that protect the interests of Mulla Baksimi. Again Berisha does not speak.
He who accuses every day of state capture, does not mention 'land capture.' He who seeks moral revolution, does not touch personal interest.
This silence is not oblivion. It is a choice.
Albanians are not looking for the shifting of Bashkim Ulaj from one political party to another. They are not looking for the relocation of an oligarch from one court to another. They are looking for the end of the system that has produced Ulaj, Rami and Berisha simultaneously.
Because the problem is not just Rrjolli. The problem is the tacit agreement that maintains a regime of interests where power and oligarchy feed off each other.
And in this system, silence is the strongest proof of political guilt./ Pamphlet
Pisllik! Shikoj qe edhe SyriTV, qe e mban veten per TV opozitar, nuk e ka pasqyruar hic, qe duhet ta kishin pararoje si lajm.
