For 6 months, the bosses of the "Bankers" company have been arrested for tax evasion worth 5 billion euros, but they continue to have the power to order government leaders to favor them not to pay customs duties and a fine worth 120 million euros, imposed for tax-customs fraud.
Government blocks fines again
In early November 2025, Fier Customs resent the notice to the company "Bankers" to pay the obligation by December 22. Otherwise, by December 31, the value would be confiscated in banks or through assets, for the amount that would not be replenished from the bank accounts.
But the Minister of Finance, Petrit Malaj, and the Director of Customs, Genti Gazheli, have entered the game to favor the "Bankers" thieves, so that they do not pay the 120 million euro obligation.
According to information from "Pamfleti", from sources within the Ministry of Finance, Minister Petrit Malaj and Chief Customs Officer Genti Gazheli have blocked the procedure and order of Fier Customs.
The blocking of the execution of the court decision was done in order to prevent the company "Bankers" from paying the fine by December 31, which is the legal deadline.
If not paid by December 31, 2025, the 120 million euro obligation will be included in the "Fiscal Peace" law from January 1, 2026 and "Bankers" will not pay it, as the obligation will be zeroed.
It doesn't take much thought to understand that Minister Malaj and Chief Customs Officer Gazheli, in blocking the execution of the fine, acted on the orders of Edi Rama, the prime minister who modified the "Bankers" contract three times, exempting it from all taxes, removing the profit tax and halving its rent.
This situation has suited Minister Malaj, as companies affiliated with him have made and approved false balance sheets for "Bankers", while Genti Gazheli has allowed fiscal-customs fraud.
Chronology of the bargain to erase the fine for "Bankers"
The 30 million euro customs fraud committed by "Bankers" was discovered in April 2019, while the 90 million euro fine was imposed on May 31, 2019. But on July 17, 2019, former Minister Anila Denaj ordered the Customs Directorate to suspend the fine imposed on "Bankers".
In parallel with the bargain, the bosses of "Bankers" took 270 million euros out of Albania, leaving the bank accounts empty, as a security measure so that nothing would be found for seizure.
To further guarantee themselves, the bosses of "Bankers" held trials and won at both levels, supported by the Ministry of Finance and the State Attorney's Office, which accepted the cancellation of the fine.
But after the scandal broke and the KLSH report was published, the Customs Directorate, on March 21, 2022, formally appealed to the Supreme Court, which overturned the decisions of the two previous levels and ordered the company "Bankers" to pay 120 million euros. However, the government did not demand payment.
Now, Edi Rama intends to remove the fine from "Bankers" through the "Fiscal Peace" law, using Minister Petrit Malaj and Chief Customs Officer Genti Gazheli, to avoid collecting the obligation by December 31, 2025, which is the legal deadline./ Pamphlet

Kush eshte ky paleo minister i financave dhe kryedoganier qe me urdher te nje k/ministri te dekompozuar politikisht, bejne pazare te pista me me kompanine Bankers petroleum qe te mos paguaj detyrimin doganor deri ne 31 dhjetor/2025, ne menyre qe ai ti falet nga paqa fiskale? A mos eshte edhe ky pazar pjese e skemave korruptive midis qeverise dhe Bankers Petroleum? A e dine keta hajdute me kollare qe BPAL, nje eshte nje kompani mafiozesh, qe ka 21 vite qe jo vetem vjedh pasurine natyrore te shqiptareve, Arin e Zi, ne nje nga vendburimet me te medhenj ne europen kontinentale duke mos i paguar asnje taks dhe detyrim fiskal shtetit, por edhe qe po e shkaterron te gjithe kete pasuri natyrore minerare duke e kthyer ne te pa rikuperueshme, ka bere nje ndotje masive ne te gjithe ambientin dhe me gjere deri ne bregdet duke e kthyer gjithe siperfaqen e vendburimit ne pellgje te mbushura me bitume, me mbeturina nafte, me shkarkim te gazeve helmues ne atmosfere, qe e kane transformuar ate ne nje “Cernobil” vdekjeprures per shqiptare dhe me gjere, si dhe ka shkaterruar pronat private dhe shendetin e banoreve ne zonat per rreth! Ky precedent i rrezikshem, favorizon jo vetem kompanine Bankers Petroleum, por edhe gjithe kompanite koncesionare qe shfrytezojne vendburimet tjera te naftes, qe jane shembelltyre e saj dhe qe i kane per te paguar shtetit te njejtat detyrime fiskale dhe kane shkaktuar te njetat pasoja shume negative ne keto pasuri natyrore, siҫ jane vjedhja e tyre, shkaterrimi nga shfrytezimi barbar dhe ndotja masive e ambientit, etj. Sejcila prej tyre eshte nje Bankers Petroleum me vehte, duhen hetuar nga drejtesia dhe ti pezullohet aktiviteti operativ. E njejta situate eshte edhe ne minierat e kromit, bakrit, etj., ne zonen veriore te shqiperise. I gjithe teritori shqiptar ndodhet ne nje emerxhensi dhe duhet shpetuar nga rreziku qe po i kanoset ne gjithe keto vite prej bandave hajdute PS-PD. I beje thirrje publike partive opozitare te reja, socialisteve dhe demokrateve te ndershem nese ka mbetur ndonje, qe t’a bejne kauze te tyre per te ndaluar keto veprime mafioze te qeverise dhe bandave PS-PD, qe po vjedhin dhe shkaterrojn pasurite natyrore minerare bashke me konҫesionaret oligarke.
