Three prisoners in England have been sentenced to life in prison after killing a fellow inmate at HMP Wakefield prison, who was serving a sentence for the murder of his partner's 2-year-old daughter.
According to British media, 45-year-old Mark Fellows, 64-year-old David Taylor and 57-year-old Lee Newell were found guilty of the murder of 33-year-old Kyle Bevan, an event that occurred on November 4, 2025.
The prosecution announced that the three convicts used improvised weapons to stab Bevan 25 times, including a metal part detached from a television.
Two of them, Fellows and Newell, were already serving life sentences for other crimes. However, the court handed them new and separate sentences for this murder.
Kyle Bevan was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum of 28 years before parole. He was found guilty of murdering Lola James, his partner's 2-year-old daughter, in Pembrokeshire in 2020.
Security camera footage was presented during the trial, showing the three convicts laughing outside Bevan's cell on November 4, 2025, before following him inside. About five minutes later, they emerged from the cell with what the prosecution described as a "sense of satisfaction."
