The public's attention is focused on the guest lists, the plane, the parties. As if just being in those places were a greater crime than what happened there. Instead of dealing with the victims, the children and underage girls who were systematically sexually abused, we indulge in voyeurism. The most important question, the tabloids say, is whether the Duke of York had an affair with a twenty-six-year-old Russian woman. It is not a search for the truth, it is a cabaret of power transformed into a tabloid circus. A real reality show.

This offered luxury, entertainment, and the feeling of belonging to an exclusive club. The elite believed they were buying entertainment, when in fact they were buying their own compromise.
But the main question remains, which no one asks and which is still unanswered: what did he get in return? The latest files do not only reveal names, they also lead to criminal investigations of several politicians, suggesting that Epstein traded classified information, financial transactions and compromising data. Allusions that he was connected to the intelligence services and even the Mossad now seem increasingly credible. His position was inexplicable within the framework of ordinary wealth, which is why it still causes suspicion and fear.
Even after his death, Epstein rules the lives of the elite. His record continues to humiliate and compromise those close to him, exposing the weaknesses and hypocrisy of those considered untouchable. And what about the victims? They remain in the shadows, as if they were just extras in the spectacle of power. And that is the point: this story is being treated as a political thriller, while at its core it is a tragedy for children, minors and women who have been systematically exploited and forgotten.
