
Vivian Motzfeldt states that the negotiations are not where Greenland would like them to be and take time.
Greenland's Foreign Minister Vivian Motzfeldt said that talks between Greenland and the United States have not yet reached the level that Greenlandic authorities would like and it is too early to predict their outcome.
"This will be a long process, so it's still too early to say where we will end up," Motzfeldt said during a press conference in Nuuk.
On January 21, former US President Donald Trump announced that he had reached a “framework for a future agreement” regarding Greenland. Current talks between the US, Greenland and Denmark aim to finalize this agreement.
