"The wolf won't stop unless you stop it"; this proverb of the people fits Prime Minister Edi Rama, regarding the looting and donation of state lands on the coast, Tirana and in the center of the cities of Durrës, Kavajë, Vlorë, Sarandë, Elbasan, Pogradec, Korçë.
The fact is this: On May 17-21, 2026, Prime Minister Edi Rama was in South Korea, for a visit declared as participation in the Asian conference on partnership in technology and innovation, accompanied by his wife Linda Rama, the court businessman, Agron Papuli, and a government delegation.
Apart from a 30-minute meeting with his South Korean counterpart, Kim Minseok, and the introduction of Minister "Diella", Prime Minister Edi Rama and the government press office did not release any other details about this four-day visit.
But the documents being published by "Pamfleti" reveal that the actual object of Edi Rama's mysterious visit to South Korea is related to a bargain for the donation of preferential lands in Pogradec and on the shores of Lake Ohrid, promised to South Korean clients through lobbying by Agron Papuli, South Korea's "Honorary Consul" in Albania.
On July 18, 2026, two and a half months after returning from South Korea, Prime Minister Edi Rama will send Minister Blendi Gonxhe there with a subordinate; Minister of the Environment, Sofjan Jaupaj; Director of the National Agency for Protected Areas, Daniel Pirushi, and Mayor of Pogradec, Ilir Xhakoli.
On July 7, 2026, they have purchased tickets and will travel to Busan, South Korea, the second largest coastal city, where commercial and construction companies, businesses, and tourist facilities are concentrated.
Minister Blendi Gonxhe purchased the ticket for himself and his accompanying subordinate to South Korea through the Directorate of Government Services, with a departure date of July 19 and return date of July 25.
And the Minister of Environment, Sofjan Jaupaj, purchased the ticket through the Directorate of Government Services, but with a departure date of July 18 and return on July 25; on the same dates with the Director of the National Agency for Protected Areas, Daniel Pirushi, and the Mayor of Pogradec, Ilir Xhakoli.
It is not known whether or not real estate agent consul Agron Papuli will go to South Korea, along with Blendi Gonxhe and the government group, but it is known that they will stay there for 7 days.
To the South Korean clients, with whom Edi Rama has been shopping, the group led by Blendi Gonxhe will present the surfaces, views of the lands and the lake shore of Pogradec; which will be donated for towers, hotels, resorts, palace complexes, villas and photovoltaic plants.
Once they select the areas they prefer in Pogradec, Minister Blendi Gonxhe, Minister of Environment, Sofjan Jaupaj, the Director of Protected Areas, and the Mayor of Pogradec, Ilir Xhakoli, will sign the letters verbally and return to Albania.
