The car, with only 30,000 kilometers, showed defects in the electrical system, experts discovered that the 'original' cameras had been installed at the company's service center in Xhafzotaj. The warranty clause obliges the buyer to have the car serviced by the fraudster, otherwise he loses his rights. The first complaints, while the authorities remain silent.
Those who decide to buy cars from the "Auto Europa" company based in Xhafzotaj, Durrës, may fall "victims" of fraud with fake car accessories and equipment, because its owner Indrit Bardho modifies them as if they are part of the brand and factory catalog.
This is confirmed by a specific case, reported in "Pamphlet", according to which a citizen found non-original equipment, without safety or warranty, in the car he purchased from the company.
"Auto Europa", which sells such cars throughout the country.
Here is the fraudulent scheme used in the reported case:
In June 2023, according to the claims of a private entity, the company "Auto Europa" sold a "Volkswagen ID.6" vehicle worth 41 thousand euros, presented as equipped with "original 360-degree cameras of the brand and manufacturing plant".
But what the buyer found after using the car was very alarming, or more clearly, a fraud, because the car, still within the warranty period and with only 30 thousand kilometers, showed serious defects in the electrical system and multimedia equipment.
Preliminary verifications by experts created these strong and reasonable suspicions:
The car's camera system shows signs of not being factory-manufactured and assembled;
It is suspected that the camera system was installed in the service station within the premises of the "Auto Europa" company;
This modification intervention can cause damage to the car's electrical system. Experts warn that such interventions in car systems seriously compromise the functioning and safety of the vehicle, as Indrit Bardho's "Auto Europa" has done.
But the scandal doesn't end there:
According to the complaint, the company denies any responsibility, hiding behind a contractual clause: "If you don't have your car serviced by us, you lose the warranty"; which means that, in addition to Indrit Bardho deceiving you by selling you cars with non-original and modified systems, he forces you to have the service done by his company, so that the fraud is not discovered by other service centers.
Meanwhile, the purchased "Volkswagen ID.6" car worth 41 thousand euros is still within the 5-year warranty and the 100 thousand kilometer limit, after having only driven 30 thousand kilometers and the defect appeared due to the modification.
Although the cause is clear and obvious and the responsibility lies with the owner of the "Auto Europa" company, Indrit Bardho, he does not provide the buyer with documents to prove whether or not the car's cameras are original from the factory.
He uses the excuse that the company operates with exclusivity for these models from the Chinese market, and advertises on their behalf, but the questions that are asked are clear:
Are cars with modified equipment being sold as supposedly "original"?
Is contractual liability being avoided towards customers who have purchased and will consider purchasing cars from his company "Auto Europa" based in Xhafzotaj and other cities?
So far, there has been no official reaction from the company, because it has been found that it has fictitious finance, technical, and sales offices; therefore, it refuses to provide any documentation to prove the authenticity of the car cameras.
So, a phantom dealership based in Xhafzotaj, which operates without any warranty conditions for car buyers, but deceives them by advertising Chinese cars, the parts of which are assembled in Albania and cause colossal damage to the electrical system.
This acrobatics is called: buying the fraud that the sales company "Auto Europa" is committing with 41 thousand euros, being ignored by the salesman and living with the anxiety of the car's insecurity.
