Tributes to the renowned journalist and publicist, Artur Zheji, will be held tomorrow, August 25, at the University of Fine Arts.
Tributes will be held from 10:00-12:00, and then the body will be transported to the final resting place near the Tufina cemetery.
The journalist passed away the day before after a cardiac arrest, while on vacation in Saranda. Zheji was celebrating his son, Patrik,'s birthday with his family at a restaurant when he felt unwell. He was immediately transported by ambulance to the city hospital, but arrived there with no signs of life.
Media figures, as well as politicians, reacted to his untimely passing.
Artur Zheji was engaged for decades in the field of journalism and publicism in Albania. He has held leadership positions in several media outlets, such as RTSH, ATSH and the Mapo newspaper. His activities include political analysis, editorial writing and directing television programs. Since 2017, he has hosted the political and analytical show "360 Gradë", a roundtable debate and analysis on national and world issues.
