The civic protest against the government continued today, marking the 33rd consecutive day. Following the developments recorded during the morning, the protesters have dispersed to several areas of Tirana.
The most violent clashes were recorded in front of the Parliament, where protesters attempted to block the exit of MPs' vehicles. Police intervened to unblock the road, using tear gas and water. Several protesters were escorted out during the intervention.
Meanwhile, a group of protesters has settled in front of Police Station No. 1, while another group is in front of Police Station No. 4. They are demanding the release of the people escorted during the protest and are continuing their stand while awaiting developments.
The situation in both police stations remains under the monitoring of the police forces, while the protesters have declared that they will not leave until the detainees are released.
