Former deputy director of AKSHI, Daniel Shima, is expected to be questioned again today to explain yesterday's entire itinerary and the loss of contact with his family for 10 hours.
Daniel Shima disappeared without a trace yesterday (August 20) after sending his family a message saying "I'm being arrested" but then he returned to his apartment.
According to the Police, the former deputy director of AKSHI, Daniel Shima, returned to his apartment during the night hours of August 21st.
"Following the information provided yesterday, regarding the report of citizen M. Sh., regarding the loss of contact with his son, citizen D. Sh., 34 years old, we would like to inform you that at around 02:00, this citizen presented himself at Police Station No. 1 and stated that he had left of his own free will," the Police statement states.
We recall that his disappearance was reported by his family yesterday afternoon.
Shima's mother was initially notified by a girl with whom the 34-year-old is in a relationship.
The young woman told Shima's mother that around 1:30 p.m., Daniel sent her a text message on her phone, writing: "The police are arresting me."
For this reason, the girlfriend of the former deputy director of the National Anti-Corruption Agency initially called the police and, after learning that Daniel was not arrested or escorted, informed his family.
His mother, during the police report, claimed that Shima was at his grandparents' house in the Student City area in the morning, a time that coincides with the message he had sent to his girlfriend.
