Four people have been injured as a result of an accident that occurred on the Lushnje-Berat road, near the village of Çukas. A Volkswagen vehicle went out of control, crashed into the side barriers of the road and ended up overturned on the roadway.
As a result of the collision, the four people in the vehicle were urgently transported to Lushnja Hospital, where they are receiving medical attention. According to preliminary data, their lives are out of danger.
Initial investigations suggest that the driver lost control of the vehicle, initially colliding with the protective barrier. Due to the strong impact, the vehicle rolled several times, ending up upside down on the road.
Police services and an investigation team have arrived at the scene, and are working to determine the full causes and circumstances of the accident.
