The fate of Albanian activist Baki Goxhaj, part of the "Sumud" humanitarian flotilla that was headed towards Gaza to deliver humanitarian aid, is still unknown following the Israeli military's intervention in international waters.
So far, there has been no official reaction from the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs or the Albanian Embassy in Israel regarding his whereabouts or health condition.
The activist's wife, Eriselda Balliu, stated two days ago that she has contacted both the Albanian Embassy in Israel and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Albania, but no one has provided her with information about her husband's fate.
"I have contacted the Albanian Embassy in Israel and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Albania, but no one has given me any information about the fate of my husband," Eriselda Balliu told "Report TV".
The "Sumud" flotilla was set off on a humanitarian mission to Gaza, but was stopped by the Israeli military, and there are still no full details on the people on board and their treatment after the incident.
