Dashnor Sula and journalist Bledian Koka clashed violently in the "Off the Record" studio on A2 CNN, discussing the recently rumored SP-PD co-government.
Sula emphasized that the co-government has taken place: " Even on July 26, 2024, I am the only one in Parliament from Berisha who voted against the Electoral Code. I did not see my personal interest, I did not lick myself, but I did not vote because I thought that was not the path for the opposition. They sold the opposition and gave power to Edi Rama on July 26. This is co-government, it is not the placement of opposition figures in ministries or municipalities. The SP-PD "marriage" was made with the blessing of Sali Berisha and Edi Rama. This is clear ."
While, according to Koka, " the idea of co-government is clearly sponsored by the majority ."
" I think that the DP has always suffered from some people who have said "if not for me, not for anyone". Why didn't you go to Elbasan, Mr. Sula, for the incinerators? Here it was "when will the next bargain be made"? And what you mentioned a little earlier and called a bargain (the amnesty agreement and the Electoral Code) you are wrong. Either you don't know politics, or you are interested in saying it as if it were a bargain ", said Koka.
Sula replied that meritocracy is needed in the party: " Even Edi Rama has MPs in Parliament that he doesn't like, but they get votes. While in the DP they ask what he thinks of us? Do I have him with me tomorrow or not? ".
Journalist Koka responded by saying that politics " needs resistance, and not when you don't become an MP to say that the party is bad ."
" This harms the Democratic Party because there have always been individuals who, when they were not MPs, said that the DP is vile ," said Koka.
Sula replied: " In 2013 and 2015, my party stole my mandate, but I didn't open my mouth . "
