The situation at the Qafë Bota border crossing point continues to be problematic, with Greek authorities working with only one counter, creating long lines of vehicles at the border crossing between Albania and Greece.
According to official data, 1,436 Albanian and foreign citizens and 460 vehicles crossed the border on Sunday morning.
Reports indicate that Greek customs operates with only one direction of traffic, i.e. at the same time entering and exiting, and this leads to long waits for travelers on both sides of the border. While the Greek side has only one counter open, the Albanian side has 3 counters in operation, but this does not help in resolving the situation.
