"It's great luck that there was no exchange of fire", Artan Hoxha

Journalist Artan Hoxha has revealed details from the police operation in Orosh, where two extremists, Julian Cumraku and Erzen Uka, were detained after threatening RENEA forces with weapons.

According to Hoxha, the Puka police officers went unprepared to the scene, where there could have been casualties, considering the arsenal of weapons that Cumraku and Uka possessed.

The journalist further added that there is a group of countries that do not sympathize with Albania and are eager to reflect such events through their media, but Hoxha emphasized that there is no religious extremism in our country.

"Of course, based on the information that came. They said the flag is ISIS, but it's not like we have any experience. In these types of situations, we don't have specialists. Ask me if they pose a danger. Every armed person poses a danger. Look, when I saw the footage of the Puka police going there as if they were going to arrest someone who had stolen a cow, I put my hands on my head. But those poor people didn't know who they were dealing with. That's why RENEA comes back and closes the perimeter, keeps their distance, uses all the technology and equipment it has to deal with them. It's great luck that day that we didn't have a large-scale exchange of fire, with the power they had, and there would have been casualties because we would be talking about different circumstances today," he said in "Terminal" with Aurora Sulçen, on A2 CNN.
