Details are revealed from the AKU action in Shkodra, where 110 tons of fruits and vegetables that were kept outside standards were blocked.
It is learned that initially it was the police who arrested father and son Gëzim Bala, 67 years old, Elis Bala, 33 years old, as well as their relative Artan Bala, 61 years old, all three residents of Shkodra. They are suspected of having threatened two other citizens (father and son) for weak motives, with the aim of obtaining property.
But during inspections of the commercial activities of Gëzim Bala and Elis Bala, authorities discovered that they were producing unapproved food products and in conditions outside of hygiene and sanitary standards.
As a result, the NFA fined the entity 500 thousand lek, blocked the quantity of 110 tons of food products, and decided to suspend the activity.
According to police data, the arrested citizens are not unknown to the authorities, as they were arrested and referred to the prosecutor's office in 2018 on the same charge, that of illegal production of food goods.
