Clashes with Rama, Berisha reveals behind the scenes: Elisa was declared an

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, appeared today in a communication on social networks with citizens, where he spoke about the protest held last evening, on April 17, in front of the Prime Minister's Office.

He also commented on Prime Minister Edi Rama's recent clashes with former Foreign Minister and former parliamentarian, currently a Socialist Party MP, Elisa Spiropali.

Berisha listed the two main reasons why, according to him, Rama declared him an enemy.

"Elisa was declared an enemy for two reasons, she did not defend Rama's thefts with Lubi Balluku. I don't know why she did it, but she did not defend them. Secondly, she signed the Peace Board, which Rama could not sign. In this way, she no longer had a future there. I don't know the deep reasons, but these are their internal problems," said the leader of the DP.

We recall that Spiropali has repeatedly issued critical messages towards the government, ever since it distanced itself from the socialist group in the case of Belinda Balluku's immunity.

Yesterday, she conveyed a strong message, raising concerns about a leadership model that, according to her, is dominating the Socialist Party and state institutions today. She describes a reality where institutions no longer function as decision-making and accountability mechanisms, but as tools of pressure and control, being used as a "machete" against individuals, businesses, the media and certain groups.

The former parliamentarian emphasizes that this model, gradually built through silence and tolerance, is replacing politics with a closed and centralized decision-making structure.

The former minister says she has been advised to "keep quiet" about what is happening in the government. But she makes it clear that despite the warnings and attacks, she is not afraid of "dogs that don't bite."

In March, during a session in the Assembly, Elisa Spiropali, the former Foreign Minister of Albania who was dismissed at the meeting of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group when the ministers were officially reporting, said that she was surprised by Berisha's announcement.

"I don't only speak English, but also other foreign languages. But I don't speak any language better than Albanian. Even though I speak Albanian, I speak bluntly and speak properly with Albania and for Albania. Every duty here in the Assembly is a great honor. The only thing I regret is that Sali Berisha announced his departure and not someone else. That's why I'm surprised that he came up with the word and nothing else," Spiropali said in the Assembly.

Even yesterday, Spiropali, through a post on social networks, openly came out against what he calls the "state capture model" by the Rama government and the Socialist Party.

Through a long reaction on Facebook, Spiropali does not spare accusations, describing a dark reality within the administration and politics, where according to her, institutions no longer function according to the law, but according to orders and narrow interests.
