Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to the burning of the 12-story building near the QSUT.
According to the Prime Minister, the palace that burned down will be rebuilt 100% by the builder himself.
"The palace that burned down yesterday in Tirana will be rebuilt 100% by the builder himself, despite the fact that according to preliminary data the cause of the fire has nothing to do with the construction itself! Because we cannot leave the damaged people alone in their property and on the other hand, taxpayers cannot pay for a damage that should have been paid by insurance, a meaningful occasion for everyone to understand that home insurance against disasters is necessary. However, I tell all the damaged families to feel calm on this side and I wish them only health, thanking from the bottom of my heart the firefighters and law enforcement for the heroic work in saving all the endangered lives," Rama writes.

The Director of the Fire Service, Arben Cara, stated yesterday that it is still too early to determine the causes of the fire.
"It is too early to talk about the causes of the fire. We are maximally engaged with the State Police and emergency forces, with all the capacities we have to make it possible to localize the flames, which we already have under control. It is still too early to say that the fire has been extinguished as work is being done in all directions to localize the fire sources inside the apartments," said Cara.
The material damage to the building involved is extensive, while investigations to fully elucidate the incident continue.
At least 30 apartments have been burned and are out of use. Currently, monitoring of the apartments is being carried out one by one, with the police also using drones.

Zotnia kryeminister i ka dhene mesazhin strukturave policore dhe hetimore se ndertuesi duhet te dali i pafajshem!!!!! (shkaku i zjarrit ska asnje lidhje me vete ndertimin???) Po fasada e jashtme e pallatit qe percolli zjarrin sikur te ishte nje stof i lyer me benzine? Me cfare materiali ishte fasada?
