Vllaznia has recorded its first victory in the preparatory phase it is conducting in Slovenia, defeating the Croatian team NR Rudes 6-3 in the second friendly match.
After a 4-0 defeat to Olimpija Ljubljana a few days ago, the Shkodran team presented itself with a changed lineup. Coach Edi Martini used this meeting to give space to players who are considered alternatives, as well as players approached during the transfer window, to assess their form and potential.
The first half ended in favor of the Croatian team, which was leading 3-2. Both of Vllaznia's goals in this half were scored by Herald Marku, who kept the Shkodran team in the game.
In the second half, Vllaznia changed its rhythm and appeared more efficient in the attacking phase. Initially, they tied the game thanks to an own goal by the opponents, while later Bekim Balaj scored two goals. Ara completed the series of goals, sealing the convincing 6-3 victory.
This was the second test for Vllaznia during the training camp in Slovenia, as part of preparations for the first qualifying round matches of the Conference League. The positive result and the team's reaction in the second half constitute encouraging signals for the technical staff on the eve of official challenges.
