Adnan Januzaj has left Sevilla as unwanted. The elite club of Spanish football preferred to loan him to Las Palmas.
The successful completion of the operation was announced by the Seville club through social networks. The 29-year-old will therefore have to wear a different jersey for this season.
Trained at Anderlecht and Manchester United, Januzaj caught the eye of the 'Red Devils', where he had good seasons. However, the striker began to be burdened by injuries and after unsuccessful loan spells at Borussia Dortmund and Sunderland, he moved to Real Sociedad, in exchange for 8.5 million euros.
In "San Sebastián", he experienced the best periods of his career and showed all his talent. In five seasons, he played 168 games, scoring 22 goals and 22 assists.
At the start of the 2022–23 season, he joined Sevilla on a free transfer, but failed to establish himself at the Andalusian club, having been loaned out to Istanbul Bashaksehir in Turkey in the second half of that season.
Last year, he played in 11 games for the Andalusians. With no space at the Sevilla club, the 29-year-old now heads to the Canary Islands and Las Palmas, where he hopes to play regularly again.
