Rei Manaj officially became a Sharjah FC player, surprising everyone with his choice.
The striker from Lushnja has signed for two years. It has been reported that Sivasspor will earn 2 million euros from this move. On the other hand, Manaj will receive a huge salary, a full 2.5 million euros per season, which consequently makes him one of the highest paid in the national team.
The striker joins Feta Feta, another national team player at Sharjah FC this season. It is also worth noting that Manaj will be managed by a Serbian coach. This is Milos Milojevic who seems to have insisted on transferring the Albanian to the team from the United Arab Emirates.
On Milojevic's CV, the most important clubs he has managed are Crvena Zvezda and Malmo, while another "big" name has emerged on the scene to transfer to Sharjah FC. It is former Milan Serbian striker, Luka Jovic.
If the parties find common ground, the Serb would be a teammate with Manaj, and at the same time a rival in the offensive department, in terms of goals.
