Dani Alves was finally acquitted on March 28, 2025, after three years of trial and 14 months in prison for sexual assault in a Barcelona nightclub. Today, his life has taken a completely different turn. He has reconciled with his partner Joana Sanz and the couple have announced that they are expecting a child.
In recent hours, he has once again become the subject of many posts on social networks. Specifically, the former Barça and Juve footballer attended a ceremony at the Elim Xhirona evangelical church and gave a long and heartfelt speech, testifying that he had made "a pact with God."
" You have to have faith, I am proof of that. Because what God promises, he fulfills ," Alves says to the applause of church members. " Love is loving when someone doesn't deserve it ," adds the former footballer, referring to God.
" In the midst of the storm, a messenger of God appeared. He led me to the Church and to the path, and today I am here because of them ," he said.
He also revealed that during his time in prison, he made a spiritual pact: “ I asked God to take care of my home and the hearts of the people who would not abandon me. And I promised to serve Him .”
In recent months, his social media has been filled with Bible verses and religious messages. It seems that Alves has finally found the peace he has been missing.
