Adrian Bajrami will continue his career in Portugal, after Braga reached an agreement with Lucerne for the transfer of the Albanian defender.
After changing his mind about his future, the 24-year-old returns to Portuguese football, where he previously played for Benfica. Now only medical tests and an official presentation remain to finalize the transfer.
Bajrami had two more years on his contract with Lucerne. The Swiss club had invested around 900,000 euros in January to secure his card, but his adventure in Switzerland proved short-lived.

During his time at Benfica, the defender made six appearances for the first team, scoring one goal.
At the international level, Bajrami was in the spotlight after his decision to leave the Albanian national team, and was subsequently not included in the Swiss team for the World Cup.
At Braga, he begins a new chapter in his career, with the Portuguese club that this season will also compete in the qualifying phase of the Conference League.
