The Albanian women's national football team was defeated at home by Wales with a score of 0-1, in the match valid for the 2027 World Cup qualifiers. The match took place at the "Elbasan Arena" stadium.
The only goal of the match was scored in the 28th minute by Rhianon Roberts. The Welsh defender took advantage of a favorable moment and sent the ball into the net, giving her team the advantage.
