Fantastic gesture from Chelsea players, they share the Club World Cup bonus with Diogo Zhota's family

Chelsea and their players will make a financial donation to the family of Diogo Zhota, who died alongside his brother in a tragic car accident last month. The London Blues will use the bonus they received last month for participating in and winning the Club World Cup in the United States to help pay for the aid.

Chelsea beat Champions League winners PSG 3-0 in the final. The players, managed by Enzo Maresca, received a bonus fund of 11.4 million pounds ($15.5 million), which will be divided equally between all those who represented the club in this major football event.

According to The Athletic, Chelsea players discussed the matter internally and the club decided that Diogo Jota's family should also be given a share of the bonus. This is the same amount that every Chelsea player receives. This means that Jota's family will be given £368,184 ($500,000) as a sign of solidarity.
