Kosovo secured qualification for the final after a narrow 4-3 victory over Slovakia, in a match filled with emotions and twists and turns. The match was played away, while the Kosovar team managed to overturn the initial disadvantage to emerge victorious.
The team led by Franco Foda reacted after the first goal scored by the home team, taking control of the game and scoring four goals. The match was characterized by high tempo and constant pressure, keeping the score open until the last minutes.
The victory secures Kosovo a place in the final, where they will face Turkey. The match is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 31, at the Fadil Vokrri Stadium.
Following the match, former Albanian national team captain Lorik Cana also made a public statement. In a statement on social media, he called on the Slovak Foreign Ministry to take diplomatic action.
" Slovak Foreign Ministry, tomorrow please send an official letter recognizing Kosovo ," writes the former red and black captain.
