"The Simpsons" is considered a series that has been praised for predicting many events over the years, so it seems that this time they have predicted the fires in Los Angeles as well.
The wildfires raging through Los Angeles are fueling many conspiracy theories about how they started. One of the TikTok users posted on his profile a part of an episode of "The Simpsons", which he claims predicted the fires that are now being experienced by the residents of Los Angeles.
In episode 12 of season 18 titled "Little Big Girl," the city of Springfield faces a devastating fire that threatens the city and its residents," the video said.
Also, in the same episode, Bart, in one of his pranks, causes a fire that quickly gets out of control.
Explaining the episode, the broadcaster said in a TikTok video: “The scenes in this episode are similar to recent events. Forest fires spreading across different regions, destroyed homes and efforts by firefighters to contain the fire are all happening right now."
At the end of the video, he stated that he is not sure if it is really a coincidence or if this is another prediction of "The Simpsons".
The video published on TikTok has over 500,000 views. Under the post, many users shared their thoughts and wrote: "How did they know all this", "They predicted it again", "The Simpsons should do an episode about world peace, to make it a reality", "The Simpsons have already predicted, I know".
As a reminder, more than 100,000 people have so far been evacuated from affected areas in Los Angeles as the fires continue to grow due to strong winds. The fires destroyed about 30,000 hectares of land, leaving thousands of buildings in ruins.
