In a heartfelt conversation with Grida Duma, actor Agron Llakaj recounted the most difficult moments after the loss of his wife, Kostandinë, revealing that for a long time he lost the desire to live.
Llakaj says that his pain was so great that he did not want to continue his life.
"In the first moments, you don't understand where you are. I asked my daughter to do her makeup, I told her 'mom deserved to go away like a beautiful bride'. We both stood there, crying, doing her makeup, and we saw her off, beautiful as she was. And after that, my pit begins. For many days and nights, I didn't want to live. I wanted to join her. My children begged me, but her absence is incomparable ," said the actor.
Agron Llakaj also focused on the special bond that united him with his wife for years, describing it as an immortal love.
"In the memoirs I am writing for the book 'Kostandina', I told her: thank you for never letting go of my hand. We were true friends, friends who fought, friends who walked together. I am a down-to-earth person, I have never flown for name or fame. I am among people, I walk, I go to work on foot ," he said.
His story is a moving testament to love, loss, and the strength it takes to move on with life after such deep pain.
