World music icon Madonna has revealed that decades of intense performances, high-heeled dancing and constant training have taken a toll on her physical health.
In an interview with 'Interview' magazine, the 67-year-old artist confessed that she is facing serious injuries in one knee, noting that she has completely lost cartilage.
"I have a problem with my knee right now. I have no cartilage at all," she said, adding that the injury is the result of years of jumping, running, and practicing Ashtanga Yoga.
Madonna said that until about a year ago she followed a very demanding physical regimen, but has now been forced to change her training regimen due to her health condition.
"I was doing trampoline jumping, cardio, and activities that doctors would consider too much for my joints. Now I can't do them anymore," she said.
However, the artist emphasized that she has not given up physical activity, now focusing on lighter exercises such as cycling, the Peloton platform, and dancing.
In addition to health problems, Madonna also spoke about the autobiographical film project, which has been canceled due to financial disputes with the studio.
Currently, she is engaged in music and is working on her 15th studio album, "Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part II".
