A copy of Playboy from March 1990, featuring Donald Trump on the cover, has once again caught the public's attention after a shopper found it by chance in a store selling humanitarian goods. On the cover of the March 1990 issue, Trump, who would later become the 45th and 47th president of the United States, appeared in a white shirt, black pants, and a smiling brunette next to him.
The issue also included articles on topics as diverse as “Rock and Racism,” “Automobiles in the 1990s,” and “International Playmates.” Inside the magazine, one article was titled: “Playboy Interview: Donald Trump, a Candid Conversation with the Most Extravagant Billionaire of the Decade.” When asked about marriage and monogamy, Trump said: “I don’t have to answer that. I never talk about my wife, that’s one of the advantages of not being a politician. My marriage is and should remain a private matter.”
But when Playboy asked him if he enjoyed flirting, he answered more openly: "I think every man enjoys flirting, and if I said I didn't, I'd either be lying or a politician trying to get four extra votes. Everyone loves the idea of how others react to them. Especially when you get into the realm of ego and high levels of success, that becomes important." In the same interview, he also revealed his dream job: "I always thought my job would be to run MGM in the '30s and '40s. It had a tremendous glamour and style that's lost today. And then you could control situations."
