Renowned rapper Getoar Selimi has commented on today's situation in the music world, especially the clashes and conflicts between rap artists.
Always maintaining a cautious public profile, Getoari said he has tried not to get involved in clashes that would damage his image:
"I have tried all along to preserve my image, I would not lose it for any idea that could harm this part of me," he told "Top Channel".
He emphasized that clashes have always been present in the rap world, but with the changing times, especially with the advent of social media, it has become easier to understand who you are dealing with.
"Today you have all kinds of ignorant people on social media who are very famous, maybe even making a lot of money doing this. Before, we didn't have social media and we didn't know who we were dealing with and who our lives belonged to."
Getoari's statement comes at a time when public clashes between artists online are increasing and often turn into viral issues.
